Marine Debris Removal & Recovery

DRC has unsurpassed experience in debris removal from beaches, canals, streams, lakes, and rivers.

DRC stands ready to efficiently recover and remove debris from waterways, whether it be storm debris, vehicles, and vessels, or marine life from red tide or biological events.

When massive amounts of vegetative debris and sand and silt deposits accumulated in Lake Houston as the result of Hurricane Harvey, DRC removed and disposed of over 1.4 million cubic yards of debris.

DRC removed over 480,000 cubic yards of waterway debris in response to the devastation caused by Hurricane Ida.

DRC has been activated 4 times over the past 5 years to remove and dispose of dead fish resulting from a 1-million-acre red tide bloom in the Gulf of Mexico.

Having successfully completed a myriad of complex waterway debris removal projects, DRC stands ready for the next challenge.

“This debris removal project has been a resounding success, and the GLO appreciates the many hours of hard work put in by the DRC team.”
