DRC has extensive experience working in this area. From 2006-2009 in Port-au-Prince, DRC assisted with the construction and operation of a three hundred fifty (350) person camp under the auspices of a U.S. State Department contract.  This camp, fully self-sufficient and complete with the resources to produce its own electricity, treat sewage, and purify water, served to support the recently completed American Embassy.
